Hello!

Hope you all had a super holiday weekend! We’re still in holiday mode so we’re taking tonight off and ROTARY ROOM will return on JULY 12th.

Last weeks ROTARY ROOM was so special, we’d like to say a HUGE thankyou to DAVID HOLMES for curating the night. We’ve had an amazing response from all the musicians that performed and from all of you that came along, that by popular demand, WE’RE GOING TO DO IT ALL AGAIN!

Once again all the songs have been selected by David from his extensive collection of rare music to be performed live by our line-up, all artists to be announced soon!

David will also DJ throughout the evening.

Thanks to everyone who made it down to ROTARY ROOM last week, it’s good to be back! It was great to see so many friendly faces and we witnessed fantastic performances from all the artists involved. Special thanks and congratulations to THE SOUL OF JOHN BLACK, who released his album “Good Thang” last week.

And so, we focus on the next Rotary Room, JUNE 14th. We welcome JOHN GOLD, who will perform a special set to celebrate the release of his new album “A Flower In Your Head” on Vagrant Records. Also we have performances from WOODY JACKSON, JADE VINCENT, the cocktail set with DAVID PILTCH & GUESTS, EMILE POREE & THE SUN MOONSTARS, JANITOR, FABIANO DO NASCIMENTO and DAVID POE.

DJs on the night are CARLOS NINO & ROBIN AIRE (Spaceways Radio).

ROTARY ROOM returns on Tuesday 7th June. The eclectic line-up includes THE SOUL OF JOHN BLACK, who releases his album “Good Thang” (Yellow Dog Records) on the very same day. This 21st century soul man John “JB” Bigham blends the sounds of rock, funk, hip-hop, and R&B with a love of classic and modern blues through his alter-ego/band. Originally from Chicago, this LA-based innovator has worked with Miles Davis, Dr. Dré, Nikka Costa and Eminem.

We also welcome the return of DAVID PILTCH alongside Rotary Room favourites GABY MORENO, THE YOUNGS, WILLOUGHBY, JOHN GOLD, and JANITOR, plus debut Rotary Room appearances from FREDDY KOELLA, DIRRTY BRAHMS & MUSTAFA EFFORTLESS and TANYA MELLOTTE (DJ set). Doors open 8.30pm, hope to see you there!
